i often got asked whether i can help them to get some items from Japan or not, and my answer is yeah why not, as long you willing to pay everything (local shipping cost . bank transfer . international shipping cost)… so from what we can see, it will not got cheap, the price will be same like you buy from local store (if available).

Usually i only asked for ordering limited or rare stuff that hard to get outside japan, also pre-order stuff that came will extra bonus (toreca/telephone card,drama cd etc.)

like what i write on my previous entry, i got OS crash and need to reinstall the whole things… been 2 days and i can say the installation phase completed (there some software plug-ins i still need to install though) … next of course issue check and stability optimize phase …

Somehow i get some BSODs today, and kinda weird since i carefully step my installation process to make sure i didn’t do something wrong that make crash the system.

Lately i have been struggling to maximize Vista.Ultimate stability that installed on Schneider… its working just fine for daily use, i didn’t have things to bother but somehow it feels the OS not as solid as WinXP…

and the result for my experiment, i never get stability.index higher than 6…. it always around that point, since there is various random crash that lower the point… well i know i dun have to bother with stuff like that, since its just log, but i like to see my system with stability.index at 9 or higher .

Anyway IMHO Vista is just another Windows ME, microsoft tried to renew the original OS with adding new stuffs, but those stuffs just don’t work… hopefully Windows7 will have better story…
Regarding OS, like or not i have to stick with Windows for time being because my work enviroment is working better on windows than other OS

Maintaining Windows OS is just like never-ending things… when you solve a problem there will be another problem… and i have been doing this stuff for several years, good things is XP solid enough that not much work i done… everything just works fine.

If you ask why i didn’t downgrade Vista back to XP, Well i should but since i want to see whether Vista get improvement near future or not, i think i will keep using Vista for time being…

if you keep reading my ブログ, you should know back few months ago i started folding on my PS3… then not for long i stop folding on my PS3 due electricity cost getting high on these summer…
And then NVIDIA CUDA came, with better&faster folding@home … seems i will start folding again when my pc goes idle (my sleep time)…

2008 ベスト アニメ (BEST ANIME) Candidate
マクロスF [MACROSS FRONTIER]
there are some good anime this year, like Gundam00 . CodeGeassR2 etc. … But from what i watch, MacrossF is totally on different level, the story is written really nice, the character design also great, and theme songs for really awesome!
MacrossF theme is back to 1st Macross series is about a spacewar . pilot . singer … there is some scene in MacrossF that brings back my memories, somehow i abit supprised about it and its really fun to watch those scene. MacrossF also designed really detail start from infamous valkyrie air-fighter to macross mobile phone that really cool if it can be real. Also the character in MacrossF is really natural. People that have interest to anime, i really recommend this anime!

actually there some great movie this year, Narnia2 . Ironman . Hulk etc…
i picking RED CLIFF is pure because i am 三国志(3 Kingdom) Big Fan! Plus the war is awesome, with cool war-general fighting actions （really excited to see 趙雲 Zhao Yun fighting scene! those Courage unbeatable!)

actually i can’t say this is the best gadget of the year, since there are to many faulty issue the iPhone3G, like the case not fitted correctly thus making the led visible on side of iPhone, cracking on back of iPhone case (the plastic cover, the one black or white colored), i thinks this due mass demand and that make apple lower its quality check to produce more iPhone than normal

1 week already passed since i start my summer holiday…
about the progress… in my term it abit slow, but somehow thats the way of my pace…
Maintenance should complete by next 2 day (2day more than what i plan, blame ソウルキャリバーIV for that (‘A`)ﾉ).

get extra drive to store mass.Data for next 1 year, its 750GB WD-CaviarBlack Drive [lohengrin]… i should take 1TB version, but i guess its not really good thing getting a HDD that have storage than 500Gb… the reason, while its nice having big storage (dun have to back-up often) but when the HDD got error or broke, u will lose more data… so for me i prefer stick 500Gb at best (will moving to larger HDD when reliability increased in next decade though (^∇^*))… getting 1TB is nice though if u have another spare and set it RAID1, i grab 750Gb CaviarBlack because i can’t find neither RE3 or RE2 drive…
Sounds i am really scared about lossing data right? Well yeah losing data is really stressful! … u might can recover it, but usually only part of it, as u get many broken files from recover process.

While doing maintenance, i read severals electric product forums (pc hardware forums)…
and somehow make me want to talk about it…
Do you guys care about quality of product you buy ?
maybe some of you just ok if the product usable even if the product not working as it should be on the promotion or on the manual … but for me the product quality is the most important things
thats why i always do some research before grabbing the item that i want to buy
